The intent of this publication is to provide state and local regulatory authorities an acceptable workmanship standard for residential construction. The NASCLA Residential Construction Standards provides guidelines for regulatory authorities that should be applied only within the scope of the particular project being preformed and is not intended to answer all questions pertaining to workmanship of construction or applicable codes. Further, each construction regulatory authority may modify or amend these standards as necessary to meet their state specific needs.
