The State of Rhode Island Energy Conservation Code covers specific requirements for the State of Rhode Island Building Code Commission.  This publication encourages energy conservation through efficiency in envelope design, mechanical systems, lighting systems, and the use of new materials and techniques.  New requirements address: energy savings, R-values in various regions, window and door U-factor and SHGC values and more.
