Kathy is currently the Executive Director of the Board of Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors. During her four year tenure at the HVAC Board, she successfully promulgated rules implements the International Code as minimum standards for the HVAC industry in Alabama. She has created new enforcement programs that promote public protection and awareness, as well as made a positive impact on the Boards revenues.

She received her Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law, Birmingham, Alabama and has over 10 years experience in construction industry regulation. She served as the Deputy Attorney General for the Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board and the Alabama Department of Insurance. She is the current President of the Alabama Association of Regulatory Boards.
